Salinas Valley Enterprise Zone Eligibility

Is your Business in the Zone?

Before you can take advantage of the Enterprise Zone Program, you will need to verify that your business is located within the Enterprise Zone.

Step 1:

First, check the attached lists to see if your business address is listed. It is not necessary that your address appear on both lists. You may also search by Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) or owner name on List No. 1.

To search for an address, parcel number, or owner name:

  1. Select and open one of the lists
  2. On the .pdf toolbar, select “Find”; from the drop-down list select “Open Full Acrobat Search”
  3. For List No. 1, you can use the “Search” feature to find an address, parcel number, or property owner name. For List No. 2, you may search by address. It may take a moment for the results to display.

Not all eligible addresses are listed. However, all parcel numbers, excluding parcels which have been created since January of 2009, are listed on List 1. Parcel owner name searches can provide a good cross check.

Step 2:

If you are unable to find your address on the list and you don’t know the APN number (or if the APN number and owner have changed since January 2009), that does not necessarily mean that your property is not located within the Enterprise Zone. Please review the maps below to see if your property is located within the Enterprise Zone.

If you have trouble locating your property, you may use a web-based property locater (such as Google Maps) to find your property’s location. If you cannot determine your property’s location, or if the location is too close to call, please contact the Enterprise Zone Manager for assistance.
